VCON Relaxicon 41½ Online Schedule!

VCON is the oldest general-interest science fiction, fantasy, and games convention in Canada and the Pacific Northwest that has promoted the interests of science fiction and fantasy culture in Vancouver BC and its environs since 1971, offering events and exhibits focused on a variety of Science Fiction and Fantasy fandom interest areas such as literature, art, media, music, costumes, comics, tabletop games, electronic games, etc. For more detailed information visit our website: www.vcon.ca.

This year’s convention’s theme is "Relax...", as in "Relax ... with a good book, ... with a great game, ... with beautiful art, ... with food and drink, ... with a blockbuster movie, ... with an engaging discussion, ... with friends, both old and new!"

Creating a Short Story From Audience Suggestions

The panelists start by asking the audience to toss out a plot idea and characters and then come up with a beginning. The audience is then responsible for offering up additional suggestions to keep the story moving.
