VCON Relaxicon 41½ Online Schedule!

VCON is the oldest general-interest science fiction, fantasy, and games convention in Canada and the Pacific Northwest that has promoted the interests of science fiction and fantasy culture in Vancouver BC and its environs since 1971, offering events and exhibits focused on a variety of Science Fiction and Fantasy fandom interest areas such as literature, art, media, music, costumes, comics, tabletop games, electronic games, etc. For more detailed information visit our website: www.vcon.ca.

This year’s convention’s theme is "Relax...", as in "Relax ... with a good book, ... with a great game, ... with beautiful art, ... with food and drink, ... with a blockbuster movie, ... with an engaging discussion, ... with friends, both old and new!"

Melissa is an Internationally known artist of Faerie, Folklore and Fantasy. Her works can be found on CD covers, book and Magazine covers and in private collections in Japan, Great Britain, the US and here at home in Canada.
She lives in New Westminster with her husband landscape architect and speculative fiction writer dvs Duncan. Together they are kept, with their noses to the grindstone, by their cat, The Major.
Melissa is opinionated and she will talk just about anything! However she enjoys talking about Faerie lore, Folktales, history, costuming, the theater, film, television and fantastic story telling in all of it's forms
